High School

Beginning in 1995 until 1997 Keene Central High School was my first high school. I was born in Keene Valley and lived their until 1997. In 1997 I moved to Lewis, NY and went to Elizabethtown- Lewis Central High School. I learned a lot their. I had been apart of a lot of organizations at both schools. I meet a lot of new people and learn many new skills over time. Below is a listing of the different organizations I was apart of when I went to High School.

Varsity Baseball is where it all started. I have always enjoyed watching and playing baseball. I played Varsity Baseball from 1995 until 1998 at both Keene Central and Elizabethtown-Lewis Central. While their I learned a lot about team work and how persistence is the key to success. I wasn't the best player on the team but I was captain of the team at both schools. I mostly played in left field and was known for my speed on the basepaths. I even won the Coaches Award in 1995 at Keene Central.

Later on in high school I learned to become more of a teacher of the game then a player. I would always work with my teammates to make sure they would always play at their best. Because for the team to be it's best it has to become the best by practice and patient. This is a philosophy that I learned while playing baseball and is a philosophy that I continue to teach to my fellow workmates. Because I believe it works for any team based task.

Over my span of playing Varsity Baseball I learned a great deal about how the real world is. I learned to work as a team to get common goals accomplished. I learned that for something to work you have to be patience and be willing to capitalize on an opportunity when an opportunity happens. I own this to playing baseball, America's Pastime!
