Curricular Experiences, so far in my career Curricular Experiences have made up the majority of my experience. I have had a very strong background in Television by being a crew member and producer for Plattsburgh State Television. Plattsburgh State Television is a 2 credit course offered every semester at Plattsburgh State. It is designed to give students the hands on experience needed in television. Below is a listing of my curricular experiences at Plattsburgh State.
Spring 2006
Graphic Designer / Operator - Cardinal Sports
Plattsburgh State Television
- Working crew member - live to air 28 minute Plattsburgh State Athletics sports highlight show (12 episodes).
- Setup / tested equipment and constructed / built the set used in the production.
- Created still / motion graphics for Compix; Created lower thirds sports information ticker with Chyron Maxine.
- Ensured graphic content was accurate and displayed when needed.
- Shot and edited sports highlight packages to be aired during the show.
Spring 2005 - Spring 2006
Camera Operator / Grip - Beat The Streets
Plattsburgh State Television
- Working crew member - live to tape 28 minute long game show (32 Episodes).
- Setup / tested equipment used in the studio; constructed set pieces prior to taping.
- Shot and edited street contestants' packages to air during taping.
- Maintainted cameras / studio equipment and operated cameras / assisted talent when needed.
