Curricular Experiences, so far in my career Curricular Experiences have made up the majority of my experience. I have had a very strong background in Television by being a crew member and producer for Plattsburgh State Television. Plattsburgh State Television is a 2 credit course offered every semester at Plattsburgh State. It is designed to give students the hands on experience needed in television. Below is a listing of my curricular experiences at Plattsburgh State.
Fall 2005 - Spring 2006
Crew Member - Sight And Sound
Plattsburgh State Television
- Working crew member - live to air 28 minute music/movie/DVD review show (15 episodes).
- Setup and tested equipment used in the studio.
- Constructed set pieces and setup three different sets prior to air.
- Maintained EFP studio equipment during shooting.
- Maintained the technical quality of the program as recorded at the VTR Engineers position.
- Maintained the studio and coordinated talent during shooting.
Spring 2005; Spring 2006
VTR Engineer / Distribution - The Beat
Plattsburgh State Television
- Working crew member - live to tape 28 minute long music video program (100 Episodes).
- Routed and recorded the program along with segments of the program.
- Maintained technical quality with vectroscope, waveform monitor, VU meters and CCU's.
