Curricular Experiences, so far in my career Curricular Experiences have made up the majority of my experience. I have had a very strong background in Television by being a crew member and producer for Plattsburgh State Television. Plattsburgh State Television is a 2 credit course offered every semester at Plattsburgh State. It is designed to give students the hands on experience needed in television. Below is a listing of my curricular experiences at Plattsburgh State.
Fall 2005
Camera Operator - Plattsburgh NOW
Plattsburgh State Television
- Working crew member - live to tape 28 minute news magazine program (10 episodes).
- Setup and tested equipment used in the studio.
- Constructed set pieces and built the set used in the production.
- Maintained the cameras using proper aesthetics for studio shooting.
Spring 2005
Grip / Camera Operator - Gizmo
Plattsburgh State Television
- Working crew member - live to air 28 minute techonology / news program (12 Episodes).
- Setup and tested equipment used in the studio.
- Constructed set pieces and built the set used during the production.
- Lite the set using 3 point lighting and floor lighting techniques.
- Ensured that all computers and peripherals were working prior to going live.
